Summit Healthcare has embarked on a major expansion that will transform operations and improve the patient experience throughout the White Mountain communities. “We are pleased to announce an expansion of services including an outpatient services/medical office building, an outpatient surgery center and an administrative services building with construction to begin in the fourth quarter of 2017.” says Ron McArthur, CEO. The utilization of outpatient services is outpacing the need for inpatient care. Summit Healthcare plans to consolidate the majority of outpatient services in one location to transform the delivery of care. Creating a convenient, multi-specialty outpatient center enables patients to see their physician, and have their additional services, such as labs and x-rays, in one location rather than going to multiple locations to obtain these services. “We are excited to expand our outpatient services to provide a one stop destination for our patients.” The expansion project is expected to be completed during the 1st quarter of 2019.
