Childbirth

Childbirth classes are offered each month at Summit Healthcare.

Topics include labor and delivery, relaxation and breathing, breastfeeding, infant care and more.

No charge for classes. Call Summit Healthcare at (928) 537-6554 to register.

Diabetes Support Group

Place: Summit Healthcare Conference Room 2
Day: The first Wednesday of each month
Time: 11:30 – 1:00pm

Classes are offered for Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, and Gestational Diabetes in the Outpatient Nutrition and Diabetes building in the East Campus. A provider referral and an appointment are required. Days and times are varied in order to accommodate and many schedules as possible. Call 928-537-6984 for more information.

Hip/Knee Replacement Class

Place: Summit Healthcare Main Lobby
Day: The second Tuesday of each month
Time: 10:30am

This is a free course to teach you about what happens during the total hip and knee replacement surgery, what to expect while in the hospital and after you leave the hospital.  If you have any questions please call Angie Valentine at 928-537-6551.

Alzheimer’s Support Group at Solterra

Day: 2nd Monday of each month
Time: 1:00 – 3:00pm
