Cancer touches all of us, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender or economic status. To meet the needs of the White Mountain communities, planning is underway to expand Summit Healthcare’s Cancer Center.
The Cancer Center expansion will provide cancer treatment close to home so the patients can recuperate there — providing a more comfortable and comforting environment and no additional travel costs, the patient’s family and community support can help with recovery, and Summit’s Cancer Center team has better access to the patient for follow-up and care.
