Celebrate Doctors Day by Saying Thanks!

Summit Mar16 DocDay wide

Summit_Mar16_DocDayMARCH 30 IS National Doctors Day. It’s a great time to show your appreciation for the people who do so much to keep you healthy.

At Summit Healthcare, our Grateful Patient program is a vehicle many patients use to express their gratitude by making a donation and sharing a message of thanks. Hearing those few small words—“Thank you”—from a patient means more to a doctor than any award they could every receive. Here are some of the many messages we have received:

My mom suffered a small stroke again. She had an infection that caused her blood pressure to rise, which caused her stroke. She is here at Summit I am thankful for the great care they gave her here. She is awake and alert now.

A shout out to all staff… I just had surgery yesterday March 1st. I just want to say thank you for taking care of me, and I wouldn’t even think about changing hospitals. A shout out to the nurses Holly and Polly… you did an awesome job. Thank you so much!!!!!

I’m lucky enough to volunteer at Summit Healthcare. It’s always a blessing to assist people.

The Grateful Patient program also gives you a tangible way to help your doctor and Summit Healthcare continue making a difference in patients’ lives. Gifts received through the Grateful Patient program provide resources to help fund renovation, expansion and equipment; develop programs and services; and safeguard the ability to Summit Healthcare to meet the healthcare needs of our communities.

When you make a gift, the doctor you are honoring will receive a letter acknowledging your gift. Your message of appreciation will also be shared with your doctor’s professional colleagues and with the community through our annual Donor Newsletter. Your gift amount will be kept confidential.

You can make a gift securely online at summithealthcare.net.  For more information, call Summit Healthcare’s Foundation office at (928) 537-6829.

Summit Healthcare is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
