April is Occupational Therapy Month

  • Posted on: Apr 27 2016

This is an opportunity for patients to recognize the occupational therapist, who works hard on a daily basis to help them reach milestones they think are unattainable.

Occupational therapists can help young people with disabilities learn how to function at school, work with someone to regain life skills after suffering a serious injury and help older adults going through physical and cognitive changes.

Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center has a dedicated occupational therapy team helping children and adults living in the White Mountains of Arizona.

The list of services includes hand therapy, neurological rehabilitation and wheelchair evaluations.

Hope is right in your backyard. If you want more information on the occupational therapy services available through Summit Healthcare, visit summithealthcare.net.
